Ingredients:

Walnuts

Lemon

Purple Onion

Cajun Seasoning

Garlic Powder Seasoning

Paprika Seasoning

Adobo All Purpose Seasoning

Sweet Bell Pepper (Red & Green)

Fresh Rosemary Leaves

Worcestershire Sauce

Sesame Seed Buns

Tomatoes

Dill Pickles

Lettuce

Optional: Ketchup, Mustard, & Mayo

Directions:

1. Wash walnuts and place in glass jar filled with water and sealed. Let the walnuts soak for 8-24hrs. Be sure not to go over 24hrs.

2. Wash soaked walnuts

3. Using a blender add soaked walnuts, a couple onion slices, and water. Blend and strain.

4. Open canned chickpeas, rinse them and smash them or blend with water and strain for a quick smash

5. Mix blended walnut and smashed chickpeas together.

6. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and seasonings like cajun, garlic powder, paprika, and all purpose seasoning. Mix thoroughly. Taste for liking

7. On stove top, add olive oil to medium heat. Add onions and allow to simmer.

8. Add Sweet bell peppers and rosemary to onion stir fry

9. Once the blend becomes fragrant. Add Walnut and Chickpea meat.

10. Allow meat to cook and change color slightly

11. Add worcestershire sauce, mix and begin forming patties with spatula

12. Allow patties to cook on each side until browned. Add oil and worcestershire sauce periodically.

13. Slide Spatula under patty periodically to make sure its not burning and also to flip to other side. Be gentle, the pattie may break up a couple times, but just use the spatula to reform into a burger pattie.

14. Form patty into a square and press in on each corner to begin forming a circular shaped patty. Be gentle when flipping to maintain one piece. Allow browning on each side so the patty is likely not to fall apart

15. Once cooked on each side, turn stove off and add cheese to the patty. Place a cover on top of the pan and allow remaining heat to melt cheese.

16. Now you can prepare the burger!

17. Add mayo to both buns. To bottom bun add lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. To top bun, carefully add the walnut chickpea patty with melted cheese. Slide spatula quickly under neath the patty for control. Add any condiments like ketchup, mustard, and mayo.

18. Place Vegetarian burger together and enjoy!
