Reasons To Cancel Smoking In Your Life

It is time cancel culture has cancelled smoking habits. Smoking is not cool. Even as depicted in movies, and tv shows of people smoking, the real truth is smoking is for the losers in life. There are zero benefits to smoking. The high that a persons get's from smoking is really their brain cells dying so fast they feel woozy and call it a "high". Smoking helps cancer cells in the body to thrive because it helps free radicals thrive instead of controlling them as the body would normally do if it was not in a state of perishing. Smokers burn out their lungs and even you can tell a smoker by their darkened gums, reddish eyes, yellow teeth, blistered lips, and gaping pores on their cheeks. The truth is smoking is detrimental to not only your lungs that you breathe with, but your entire body is at stake. Smoking frequently can cause damage to the thyroid gland and cause some to be placed on ventilators or a trachea which is a long tube in your larynx or better known as your voice box. In the 1990's their were smoking commercials famous for showing wheel-chaired persons with a trachea begging people to quit smoking or they can end up like them. Their brave story touched many lives and saved so many lives as well.

Some smokers argue that nicotine cigarettes are different from smoking weed or even vaping. Still research and experienced smokers have shown that vaping is worse than regular smoking. Even hookah plays a similar role. Smoking illegal drugs like weed gives a psychedlic high that provides hallucinations, the drug helps free radicals reign, and the smoke kills brain cells. The smoke in smoking is probably the most harmful part in smoking. Smoke can cause chemical reactions to occur in the brain and in the body. Inhaling smoke is extremely harmful to anyones health whether it is smoke from a house on fire or smoke from a cigarette or blunt, smoke is still smoke.

So why do people still do it? Why do people smoke? It's easy to start smoking when a friend or partner introduces it to you. When hanging out the choice activity is to smoke together it becomes a task to do. The high feeling becomes a feeling the person wishes to have all the time for they believe it releases stress and relaxes them unknowingly they are killing themselves slowly and this is the relaxed feeling they enjoy its a near death experience the smoke eases them into. Smoking can become an addiction. If a person has no goals, purpose, and knowledge about what smoking is really doing to them, some can carry this habit for years, even decades until the smoke collapses their lungs, thyroid, or heart. Some smokers may even have heart pains that they refuse to tell anyone about. The heart pain they feel can be a result of smoking more than the heart can handle.

It might look cool at a party, club, or watching your friends do it, but smoking has grave dangers that can lead to lung cancer, blood clots in the heart, brain damage, or even death. Many smokers are aware of the grave dangers of smoking but still do it. One person said "I am young, I am able to smoke, its not like I will do it forever." Many young teenagers and adults who begin smoking try it out as an experiment. No one signs up to becoming addicted to any substance, it is a habit that just forms and continues until it becomes like second nature until it is too late to quit. It is better not to experiment with drugs at all. When a person experiences a drug several times they may become accustomed to the hallucinations and escape that they may want more. Friends or drug dealers can use addicted persons who are begging for a high. A temporary feeling is not worth an entire life. Do not seek friends for illegal substances, seek friends who have substance in themselves like character, integrity, and honor.

Our bodies is like a temple for God. We honor God when we honor and nourish our bodies. Our bodies trust us to feed it properly and bring it strength. Our bodies is our vessel. We only have one body. We only get to live and experience life in one body so we ought to treat it well to the best of our capabilities. Smoking is a poor habit. Monetarily, it's a waste of money. Smokers spend thousands of dollars on cigarettes, weed, and vaping products in a year. Theses substances bring zero benefit to the body. These substances promote idleness, laziness, slothfulness, and poor health. Most people who decide to smoke have a depression issue and lack of purpose whether they know it or not. Smoking gives them a sense of purpose by doing something with their time and the high they receive depresses the reality of their lives and bring them to a high escape. For how long will a person carry this habit before deciding on becoming self-controlled? Many who have formed smoking into a habit will deny that they are addicted to these substances although they partake in smoking everyday or several times a week spending money, resources, and time on a thing that brings no proper sustenance to their life. At some point one must ask themselves if the products they choose to consume and entertain are sustaining them?

No one can stop a smoker from smoking. the power of smoking is that it is a free will task and a free choice because no one can put anything to your lips and force you to ingest it. Breathing in these harmful chemicals is a choice. If you are around a frequent smoker, you always have the choice to walk away and go someplace else. Some smokers can quit in a day. Some people have cold quit in just a day deciding they shall no longer allow smoking to rule their life and they choose to spend all the time they use to smoke on something purposeful, beneficial, and nourishing to their body, soul, and mind. Choosing to quit smoking is a task dedicated to the strong and willful. if you believe you can do it, then you will. Picking up new habits, new activities to do, new hobbies and learning something new is a great way to distract yourself from smoking by finding things you enjoy doing and spending more time focused on doing something meaningful. Another helpful tip to quit smoking, is to do it less and  increase exercise and healthy eating habits. Soon you may realize you enjoy feeling energized more than feeling woozy and high.

Another way to slow down smoking is to make a list of reasons to quit, make a list of why smoking is ruining your life, make a list of the negative effects you have experienced from smoking whether its constantly having to shower and brush your teeth because everyone around hates that smell or smoking is depleting your savings and slowing down the rate you can be living in your dream home or taking your dream vacation. Imagine how much money was wasted smoking versus being on a Caribbean island! Smoking can even affect your relationships, your family, cause you to lose friends, affect your focus, or even affect your ability to get employed. Make a long list of reason you should quit smoking and soon you will be able to convince yourself to quit this poor habit and pick up new ones today!

The Power of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a Holy power that can work for your benefit and those around you when properly used.

Make it a custom to apologize and make things right if you have offended, hurt, or brought any kind of pain to someone even if you don't believe you intentionally did anything wrong or even if you did, it was true. An apology has the powers to mend a broken friendship and allow peace in the presence of those you once was uneasy with. Apologizing allows the hinderance to be placed in the past and the friendship may continue on as if nothing ever happened. Being the bigger person, a leader, and a servant after God's own heart requires you to give an apology even if you feel you have done nothing wrong. If this person accepts the apology the friendship may continue on good terms. The Bible says if the persons does not accept you, dust your feet off and do not return.

Most of the time in the subject of forgiveness, it is not us who owe an apology, but it may be the other way around. The person may owe you an apology and have caused harm refusing to apologize. When this is the case, and you have found yourself at cross roads with an individual who refuses to ask for your forgiveness, or even mend the friendship some way some how, it is good to release this stress and burden and give it to God. The pain of releasing a friend is quite painful. We forgive the friend or family member for not wanting to apologize. We forgive them by not carrying the burden of this reality in our hearts. We forgive them for being who they are and accept that this is what they choose to do and how they choose to live their life. It is imperative that we know and understand God's love for us is above all else. Understanding God is protecting you always from friendships and relationships that was never truly foundational and good for you to begin with. Everything is not always what it seems. Anything that is real will be tested by fire, temptations, trials, and tribulations if it is real indeed. If the friendship or relationship did not pass the test and trial, then darling the person was not your true friend, the person was a counterfeit. Cast your burdens to God and forgive every single person who has ever hurt you including the counterfeits. Hold on to the good memories you have had with them so when you think of this person, it is a delightful thought. Release the pain and betrayal of them to God. Let your heart be light and fill it with the powerful love of God. Know that God loves you so much, He will reveal the intentions of the hearts to you always.

Forgiving someone who chooses to be unforgivable is a powerful act! Imagine that, forgiving the unforgivable! When we forgive others we do not do it to please the other person, but we do it for ourselves. We forgive because it cures our hearts from pain, malicious thoughts, and anger. Being angry at someone only will stress you and stress is the leading cause of disease so give the stress to God. Refocus your mind and heart on the things God has asked you to do. Your agenda is one of pure love, remember that.

Ask God that He can help you forgive and let go all thoughts, memories, images, and visions that do not serve the progression of God's Holy Kingdom. It is important that you forgive those individuals even though they never apologized to you. Go even further, wish them well in their journey of life. The key to letting a person go: is wishing them all goodness, mercy, and wellness in their life journey. This positive energy you send their way will release the burden and all stressors you have about them. The energy you give to someone returns to you as you are the wielder of the energy you give. A step further can be to close your eyes and imagine in your mind giving the person a beautiful flower and hugging them and waving goodbye. The imagination is a powerful resource and with your prayer of goodness aligning with the imagination this is sure to release the person in peace wishing them well and wishing them all happiness. The burden of having them as a thought will be released to God.

Our ability to forgive is so powerful that it can transform our day from a sad one to a day full of joy and bliss. Do not hold on to any thought that is not serving God and not serving you. Do not hold these thoughts captive, yet again, release your heavy burdens and poor thinking patterns to God. God will handle it if you release it to Him. Keep your heart pure and full of righteousness as God has intended. Do not quarrel with fools, but sit at the table of God's thanks giving. Give thanks for the opportunity you had to meet this individual. Give thanks to all the wonderful memories you once shared. Give thanks to how this person contributed and impacted your life for the greater good. Thank God for the moment in time that you were honored to meet this individual. Any other thoughts, return them to God. Remember to carry peace with you everywhere that you go. If a disagreement occurs, remember to give peace as an offering when misunderstandings and miscommunications happens.

Love those who hate you, as Jesus said it best, "They know not what they do". If they knew love and forgiveness was part of the recipe to a joyful life, they would come running to the heart of Christ. Forgiveness is a power that takes less focus from what is going on in the world and all its drama and refocuses this attention and energy to what really matters: being about your Father's business.

When we understand hurt people, hurt people and that not all people who claim to know Christ really know Christ in their hearts and in their everyday life. It is a great habit to practice forgiveness everyday. Forgive yourself if necessary. Forgive yourself for not meeting certain expectations, standards, and benchmarks. Dwell in the grace of God and allow God to lead your steps right where He wants you to be. The power of forgiveness can transform your day and your life. Forgiveness can transform the way you deal with the relationships in your life and it can change the way you walk in life. Forgiveness is fundamental for a joyful life and youthful appearance. Find something to forgive today. Anything that is heavy on your mind deserves to be forgiven and given to God!

Make a heart felt prayer to God today that you forgive it all no matter what it is. That God may give you the discernment , wisdom, and learning lesson in this situation that you may continue to lead a life after God's own heart. That the situations you went through was a learning lesson and you have succeeded in gaining the wisdom and releasing it all to God. We succeed when we get through it and not become it. We live our lives dedicated to God and being at God's service. Part of spreading the good news means that we also live by it! By forgiving those who have not forgiven us, unknowingly we are giving them the gift of grace as God has given us. Forgive and give pardon for the sake of Gods business and work in the kingdom of God in order that His work be done so His promises may be fulfilled!

Living With Grace

Grace is a power from God given to me and you as a gift. This power of grace is made perfect in our weakness.

What exactly is grace?

What exactly is this power of grace given from God?

How can we use grace to benefit us?

How can we use God's grace to fulfill the will of God?

How to activate God's Grace?

When I first think of grace, I think of a grace period, or even the act of being gracious or graceful. These ideas of a brief time of pause I didn't deserve reminds me of a grace period. For instance, the grace period we get when we forget to turn in a school assignment or the grace period we get to renew our tag registration after the day has passed.  Grace can also be the act of being poised, polite, etiquette, and a resemblance of the light of God reminds me of being gracious and graceful. I remember being graced by a sister in church. It was her presence, that the very essence of her being flowed with a unique love I almost thought she touched me. She did in fact touch my heart. She was slow to speak, her smile could light up a room, and she looked at me with kind eyes. The grace of God was with her. She had a head covering over her head. It was believed in old times and even til this day that a head covering signified the grace of God's covering over your life. It was believed that God's grace is a covering over our lives and by covering our heads it would help us stray away from sinning and be without sin. That Gods's grace would guide our paths and this covering of our heads would allow us to be slow to react.

Grace is not just a gift given to us, it is also a gift we give to others. Being slow to speak and slow to react is a sign of grace. This brief pause in a conversation and interaction gives a moment to breathe in some fresh air, to look into the eyes of the one you are speaking to, to give remembrance to God's presence in this moment of time. Grace can settle a disagreement. Grace can save you from reacting out of character. Grace is God's goodness and peace made manifest.

Grace essentially is God's presence with us. it's not just a covering of God. It's God's essence present. It is God's being radiating through us. It's being tuned in with the frequency of God.  When God orders you to do this, you do it. When God orders you to speak something, you say it. When God says go this way, you go. This power of Gods's grace is the wielding power of guidance in our life in order to do the very will and enact the very will of God which has been placed in our hearts to do. The grace of God is a gift freely given to us as a power to wield in our daily lives. The grace of God is a power that must be activated. Yes it is freely given, however, we must be in tune with the grace of God in order for the power of grace to be of effect and effective. Can we listen to a radio just because someone has given us a radio station and it is freely given? If the radio station is not plugged in, turned on, the antenna is active, and the station is turned on a radio station, how then can the radio be of effect? Even once the radio is turned on some radio stations may have more static than others. When we speak to God we want a clear signal, this clear radio frequency is our signal we can clearly hear the radio station; similar to our signal we are clearly hearing from God when we let go of our bad habits and sinful ways that transgress away from the word of God.

Grace comes through faith and faith comes from the word of God. Therefore in order to activate the grace over our lives we must first believe the word of God, have faith in the word of God and grace is activated. As simple as it sounds we must remember that believing the word of God and having faith in it means prophesying the word of God for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God so we must speak the word of God over our life not just think it to be true. We must also remember faith without works is dead and by the fruits we will know a tree. Therefore let us not just speak the word and say we have faith in our hearts, yet let our lives manifest the fruits of God which has been placed in our hearts to do so. May our lives represent the creative love of God. By spreading the "good news" we are fulfilling the will of God!

Living with grace is a daily lifestyle. Everyday there are new temptations. Temptations may come as people and even thoughts! Being tempted to overeat, being tempted to share some juicy gossip, being tempted to curse and have road rage while driving are all small examples of how we can easily be tempted in every day life. We are asked to be steadfast in God's word that we may be tuned into His frequency so well that when temptations comes knocking on the door of our hearts, it can no longer cause us to stray away from the word God has declared over our lives.

Bible Verses:

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

The Gospel of Christ

The Gospel of Christ is the Good news!

The Gospel of Christ which is also one of the biggest mysteries is that Christ has already risen and will return soon. The good news is that Christ is here and ready for every single last one of us to accept Christ as our personal savior. To accept Christ as your personal savior means believing God wants to have a personal relationship with you, it means communing with God daily in prayer and supplication, it's being baptized with the Holy Spirit. Christ is alive and everyday Jesus is coming hoping you accept Him as your Lord and personal savior.

God's will for us is to preach, prophesy, and spread the Gospel of Christ which is the good news, which is the grace freely given to us for everlasting life. This joyous living is obtained through the grace of God which Jesus Christ has shown us the way to grace which is righteous living. Righteous living is how we can clearly hear from God for this is His will: that we may have life and have it more abundantly. Putting away poor lifestyle habits, putting away greed, slothfulness, lust, pride, wrath, envy, and gluttony. By crossing out our poor habits we walk away from death for sin is death. Jesus has already died on the cross for our sins. By walking in a righteous path for God's will and spreading the good news that "we have been saved by grace and to follow Christ", we essentially find purpose in spreading the good news that God may save even one sheep that strayed away from the 99. Even so, that God can save a person who has turned to drugs, sexual immortality, and greed. God can turn a sinner into a righteous believer if only he believes! God's presence is awaiting us to tune into the word of God that we may be justified by His word and therefore by our faith we are justified for it is by His grace we are justified!

The Gospel of Christ is a mystery awaiting you to find its revelations in the very act to revel in all the beauty of God's glory!

The top 2 commandments we are asked to follow is to love God with all our hearts and to love one another. By following these 2 simple commandments we can fulfill all the commandments and the will God has set for our lives.

Bible Verses:

Mathew 22:37-40

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mark 16:15

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."

Romans 1:16

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

Mark 1:15

"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!"

Acts 20:24

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace.

John 13:34

A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
